Hey friends, here’s a funny blog! Have you ever been told myths and meanings of dreams that were almost to far fetched to be true? Well, I’ve taken the liberty to look up a few online and what I have found may amaze you. It’s funny what people have been taught to believe. We want to hear some of the things you were taught to believe or still believe. Here are a few we found online …

Myths

The black cat old wives tales are likely rooted in early Christianity when those who usually had cats, black or not, were those closely associated with witchcraft. Now, most of us know that cats come in all colors, and are owned not just by those who are involved in witchcraft, but also those that simply love cats in a variety of colors! So, choose to come into contact with a black cat, or not, you’ll likely be safe either way!

According to old wives tale, just about every bodily sensation can be explained. For instance, if the palm of your right hand is itchy, money will be coming your way. But, if you scratch the right hand while it is itchy, it’ll keep the money from coming.

As the story goes, a lady was busy with her household chores as she noticed a drifter walking toward her home. During these times, many of these drifters would rob and take advantage of any woman that was home alone. She was aware of this fact and grabbed her husband’s gun. When she grabbed the gun, she noticed that it was not loaded but before she could do anything, the drifter just opened up her door and walked in. He did not knock or make a sound of introduction at all. She dropped the gun, which landed in the baby’s crib and began her best to fight off the drifter.

Dreams

Airport Dreams To see a busy airport in your dream, signifies the desire for freedom, high ideals, ambition, and hopes. It is an indication that you are approaching a new departure in your life. Some new idea is taking off or is ready to take off. You may be experiencing a new relationship, new career path or new adventure. To dream of a deserted airport, indicates that your travel plans will be changed or delayed.

Moth Dreams To see a moth in your dream, indicates that unseen irritations and damage will not surface until it is too late. It is important to pay attention to minor details and not overlook things or others. Alternatively, the moth may symbolize your weaknesses and character flaws.
