From the entire S-H-E-M-A Gurls Team, we want to wish our S-E-P’s A very blessed and happy Father’s Day.Sexy is for the man that is honest, reliable and true. The sexiest thing in a man is his integrity to stand up and be counted on.
Energetic is for the man that exudes the love of live life to the fullest. For the man that strives wholeheartedly to live his dreams while helping others along the way.
Poppas is for the fathers in all of you all. A true S-E-P cares for his own while passing on knowledge and wisdom for generations to come as only a father can.
We Honor our Father’s for doing, living and being a man of honor everyday!

Remember to LIGHT IT UP BLUE…

April 1, 2010

April is Autism Awareness Month, and April 2nd is International Autism Awareness Day. For reasons that are rather obscure to me, Autism Speaks is working with cities and organizations around the world to promote Autism Awareness by lighting up major buildings and landmarks with blue lights on the night of April 1st.
The project, called “Light It Up Blue,” will certainly be very visible indeed:
On the night of April 1, prominent buildings across North America and the world including the Empire State Building in New York City and the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada will be lit up blue to raise awareness for autism and to commemorate World Autism Awareness Day on Friday, April 2.
And we’re aiming to light the world blue, too – city by city, town by town – by taking action to raise awareness about autism in our communities.
And we’re aiming to light the world blue, too – city by city, town by town – by taking action to raise awareness about autism in our communities. SO LIGHT IT UP FOLKS

Note:
Remember the smallest things can mean so much, check on an elderly neighbor, shovel a public walkway, read to others, put a smile on someones face, etc… and please let’s not forget our brothers and sisters in Haiti…if you can, take $5 and donate to the relief effort, check out www.yele.org for more info.
