We chose this song because we know most of us go through ups and downs
in our lives and we want each of you to know that whatever life

What Does It Mean To Be A S-H-E-M-A Gurl?
Sexy is for our state of mind, always remembering to take
excellent care of ourselves. Mind, body & soul.
Hot is for the woman that is always in search of knowledge
to improve her life, facing challenges to strive for what ever it
takes to keep her mind learning and growing. Living your greatest
dreams and never settling for anything less than the best.
Energetic is always have a mind set to treat your body as a
temple. Respecting it, nurturing it, caring for it and keeping it
healthy. This is done by acknowledging that YOU are the only one
that can exercise you body…no one else can get fit for you.
Mommas is for moms and women of all walks of life sticking
together and helping one another to grow from success to
success.
Association is for the sisterhood we have all adopted by
joining S-H-E-M-A. Always knowing that if you are a S-H-E-M-A Gurl,
you have enlisted in a sisterhood of love, support &
encouragement for a lifetime.
What It means to be an S-E-P?We would like to welcome men to the organization too. S-H-E-M-A is
not just for women. We refer to our male members as S-E-P’s. This
portion of the group was adopted when our first male member joined
us in early 2007. Thus, came Sexy Energetic Poppas.
Sexy is for the man that is honest, reliable and true. The
sexiest thing in a man is his integrity to stand up and be counted
on.
Energetic is for the man that exudes the love of live life
to the fullest. For the man that strives wholeheartedly to live his
dreams while helping others along the way.
Poppas is for the fathers in all of you all. A true S-E-P
cares for his own while passing on knowledge and wisdom for
generations to come as only a father can.
